Sad news

I just got word that a youngster that I taught a few years ago has terminal brain cancer. She is 19 or 20 now, the age of my grandson. It's sad and depresssing.

Sure is. I lost a cousin who was one of my best friends from that when we were just 16 years old.

Yahoo news just had an item where in Michigan a high school basketball player in a playoff game scored a last second basket to break a tie and win the game.

Within a matter of minutes, during the post game celebration, he collapsed and died right on the basketball floor.

Not sure yet of the reason.

I just saw that on the noon news. His mother is a middle school teacher in the same district. Heck of a note.

All I can hope is they used their few years well. Never know when your time is gonna be up.

I try to live life each day to its fullest, you don't know what tomorrow brings. It's sad to see so many young adults not able to fulfill there dreams.
