I have 12 semi dwarf fruit trees and was thinking how I was going to handle the ladder in all this snow, then it dawned on me SNOWSHOES. Pruned all the trees without climbing a ladder. Gotta love Maine. Eat your heart out southern people. See what your missing.

Perhaps, but how is your citrus crop doing this year? lol

I'm not southern either so don't have citrus either. Where I live does have a nice long gardening season though of about 180-200 days, which means we will soon be planting.

I'm of the opinion you are hardy stock if you can live in Maine or other NORTH areas. I have Maine roots in my heritage, but they left there about 1830 or so. Some day I hope to visit the Gorham area.
