Poly Manure Spreader Floor

I need to replace/repair a poly floor in a manure spreader, does anybody know where to get the flooring other than the dealership where it costs more than the spreader did?! Any advice for installing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
 
Contact Sandhill Plastics in Kearney Nebraska. I have used their plastic sheets for several years for all kinds of repairs. I also replaced the floor in my manure spreader with their 4x8 sheets of 1/2" black plastic. 'Just bolted it down to the floor members. 'Won't ever rot and is some tough stuff!
 
Thanks! I always wondered what those sheets of plastic were for that was being sold in Orscheln's. They also had a white poly labeled as stall liner if I remember correctly. When I finally found a need for some I discovered that they no longer carried it here.

Again, thanks for the ecucation. Kearney is a ways, but not toooooo far if I really want some.
 
It is recycled plastic milk jugs. I used it in confinement hog buildings for years for gates and the hogs couldn't tear it up. When i needed to put a new floor in my manure spreader the John Deere dealer scared me to death with their price. I told them I could get this stuff one heck of a lot cheaper than what they were asking. So I ordered it from Sandhill and they shipped it to the John Deere dealer and they installed it for me because we had to do other work on the spreader as well. They have since used this stuff for other projects of theirs. I don't remember the price, just google them for their 800 number. It will be the last floor you ever put in your spreader.
 
I'll second Farm Tek. I got a sheet of 3/16" poly and the wide pan head bolts from them and relined my NH 514 5 years ago and it looks like new. The poly has considerably less friction than wood so the spreading goes easier
 
Find a local dump truck repair shop, most dump beds are lined now and they buy in big rolls.
