you know them there brass pilot bearing chevy has used in their standard transmission from the 60s till late 80 at lease, 3/4" long by 1" wide with 1/2" hole in the center? WELL 40 BUCKS at Car Quest this am, told him no thanks ,think I have one at home in a junk engine

Take your specifications, and go to McMaster-Carr, you'll get a mighty big bag full of bushings, for $40.00!

LOL I think they were looking at the wrong line when they shot you that price! I bought one last week for $7.99 at the local parts store! I would call them tomorrow and double check.

had a good one here at home in a junk engine, just didn't want to take the time to take it out, but I think I mad bout 18.00 a hr by takeing it out.

Last one I got came with the clutch kit I got. I made 100% sure it came with the kit because if it had not I would have gotten it with it any how but I do have an account with the auto parts store so that helps a good bit. I probably have a few of them laying around some place in my shop. That said I got news of the parts for an engine I am building for my son. Crank turned 10 but they are having a hard time finding the bearings for it which I think is funny but the parts guy said they will find them. By the time I get this 292 built it will be a $3000 engine in a very old truck as in 1951

Rusted, just put a bearing in a chevy crank. $6.00 and I have a lot of those brass bushings on the shelf.
