Search for a Tractor that was part of my youth.

I am trying to find out any information available about a single wheeled lawn tractor that my Grandfather owned. I have a phot of me sitting on it. It was taken about 1959.
I remember that the tractor had a few attachedments for it like a plow, a trailer and roller. It was rope start and had a clutch on the left handle bar and the throttle on the right side. I would like to find one to purchase if possible. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Ossian, In.
Here is a photo of the tractor.
Thanks!

Yep, all the tree's here have a redish tint, the buds are just about ready to pop. What we need is a good rain and we will be green again. Tenps have been very warm here, however no rain past 3 weeks or more.

That sure seems to be an unusual unit for sure. I agree, a boy's delight and can understand why you'd like to have one.

The picture I've added is of my daughter driving a conveyance known as "Taxi" to my parents house in the background, which is a half mile away. I would let her drive and I'd follow behind in my pickup. We'd use the road/trail beside the railroad. Figured it was a fair trade as they sometimes drove in our fields rather than through their weeds.

I gave $35 for the old two wheeled tractor with sickle bar mower and a cultivator. Had a 1.25 hp motor on it that was worn out. Worked great, if daughter drove into something it killed the motor, think she only did that a couple of times.

Long gone, wish I had it back too.

Thanks for the quick response. I will check out those links.

I had read that it was probably a 1.5hp motor.
When it ran at full throttle, Grandpa was walking beside it and keeping up.
That dog was named "Boots" and he was a great Rabbit hound.

Thanks again,
Randy

Yep, its a Choremaster, I haave one, but I'm not selling. I would like to find the weight that is over the drivewheel. Little trivia here: Choremaster was the smallest tractor tested in the Nebraska tractor tests.

I recall that the cast iron weight was necessary for traction on wet ground, but that little machine could pull a bunch of weight. It used to haul me and Grandpa and the dog and a bucket full of trees to plant up and down hills and wet areas. It was a great little workhorse.
