Build your own Essex!

My late mom and dad had an Essex when they married in 1929. Hal
PS: I think that old car was push to the back side of the barn when they bought a 1935 Ford new. We use to play in it making like we were driving it.

Original paperwork is the neatest thing to have with an old car. I was cleaning out under the seat of my 1948 DeSoto and found all the original sales paperwork. Warrenty cards, bill of sale, instructions and such. Really cool find, and makes a connection to the couple that drove their new car home on August 12, 1948.

"Didn't need no welfare state,
Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee our old LaSalle ran great.
Those were the days."
