PTO and powershift does not work hardly at all changed filter did not help. took line pressure line off pto and powershift and put gauge on and valve andreturn back into fill hole and started tractor and begin to close valve and let pressure go up too 300 psi and stop and open valve thats all I have so far.

Your tractor has a leaking clutch pack. It is letting the pressure drop through the leak. That is if it did it sudden. If it slowly just got worst and finally quit then your pump might be bad. Have you ever had a power shift tractor apart??? I don"t know how good of a mechanic you are but those AC 7000s are a real bear to work on. They are pricey too. Unless this tractor is special to you it might be time to look for a replacement that is NOT a AC 7000 series. If you have to go into the power shift very deep you can easily put 5K or more into parts. I was getting some AC parts here a few weeks ago. The local dealer had a AC 7040 just out of the shop. The tractor owner had bought it new. So he wanted it fixed. Power shift was out. Total shop ticket was $13,000 dollars. The tractor might have been worth $7500. It was in rough looking shape. There is a reason that AC 7000 series have a terrible resale value.

There is at least 3 7000's around here, they all think they are good tractors, because of the 3 speed power shift. I have never heard of one of them going bad.

The 7000 has a different power shift than the rest of the 7000 series. It uses the D19 style rear end still (heavily modified and beefed up, but the same basic design). It is basically a 3spd version of the power director, instead of having just a direct and under-drive, it has under, direct, and over. You can also test the different clutch backs with compressed air so you can hear which ones are leaking, but it's a little tricky. I would get a copy of the Allis service manual before going too deep into the tractor, or else take it to someone. You can test the pump by flow testing it at the different ports. Could be anything from a bad powershift to a leaky suction line for the pump.
