A Lancaster County Sheriff's deputy investigating a suspicious vehicle report early on Feb. 18 got an all-nude revue instead.
Chief Deputy Bill Jarrett said the deputy was investigating the suspicious vehicle report when he saw a truck matching the description near 140th and West A streets about 2:25 a.m.
As he approached, Jarrett said, the deputy noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the cab of the truck. In the pickup's bed, the deputy found an assortment of clothes and a partially empty case of Busch Light.
And up front, Jarrett said, were two men and two women -- all four naked.
Jarrett said the deputy asked what the four were doing.
"Well, I think we're getting in trouble," one said, according to a sheriff's office report.
The driver, 32, was arrested on suspicion of third-offense driving under the influence, an open alcohol container violation, not wearing a seat belt and overloading the front seat of a vehicle.
The other man, 22, and two women, 36 and 31, were not cited, Jarrett said.
