heat wave!

it's 51° outside right now, in Southwestern Pa (and I'm stuck inside in the office)...anybody else thinking 50° is just about right for shorts and t-shirt weather after the winter we've been having? (haven't really seen anything close to 50 since October or early November)

The time's never right for shorts. I don't even like to show my legs when I'm swimming.

I agree! Shorts are for little kids, or Macho-men, who have the body of an adonis!
As for me--my legs don't match-been that way since i lost the left one somewhere in France, in WW II. People tend to stare, point fingers, and ask stupid questions, so, no shorts for me.
And, i live 12 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. and the sun has gone "in", and i'm not going out until after lunch. The ice and snow still out there, are danged slippy and i'm not taking a chance on falling! At 86+, anything can happen. Tractors can wait.
One time, i went camping with a bunch of friends, and it was hot, so i put on shorts, and stepped out. One guy whom i had seen before, asked me what happened to my leg. I just said:"Oh, is that thing gone again?"

Shorts what are those?? Oh you mean those things children wear. LOL Nope you can not catch me dead in a pair of shorts I out grew them about 40 years ago. But yes it is warm out just cleaned out the chicken house and came in sweating

You'all come on down here around about July, and do a few hours of mowing............ you will be cutting the legs off your pants to make shorts.
