Brake pads beep???

The other day i put brake pads on my sisters car and today she comes driveing up saying something was wrong. The car was makeing a beeping sound.Seemed strange to me, so i say just drive slow while i walk beside. It didn't make a sound so i stick my head inside. Seems her new phone was beeping.

My mother -in-law was sure her car was fallin' apart so i made her take me to the corner she said she turned when it did it. Happened to be on of those corners that had rumble strips to wake you up before the turn. 'Nuf said???

I've been expecting as much. I started a rumor about a year ago that Motorola was celling its cell phone manufacturing off to Bendix. Well, sounds as though they heard my rumor and have. More importantly, will they cut me in on a finders fee and will it be retro-active? When exactly did you put these on her car?

Back when oil used to come in round cans I had alot of complaints of a clunking sound in the back or under the seat. Usually right after I worked on something. Lots of red faces from the "It didn't do it before" crowd when you pull that can out and it looked like it had been rolling back and forth there 20 years!!

The mechanic at work hooked the horn to the turn signal on one of the laborers trucks.

My son is a mechanic, and one morning right after he opened his shop, he heard tires squealing. The truck pulled in with a tandem axle trailer and wanted him to fix the trailer brakes. Come to find out the guy had somehow hooked his electric brakes into his left turn signal wiring. They worked real good - unless you were turning left.

A few years ago a lady took her car to the garage and told the mechanic she got a steady bump --bump--bump--bump as she drove down the highway. So he climbs in the car with her and it turns out she is driving so close to the center line she is hitting all the new reflectors they put on the center line now.

Don't ya just love that "It didn't do it before" crowd?? Seems to have been at least 70% of customers the 35 yrs I was dealing with them. Probably good I never owned a gun back then. Idiots!

I had one a while back. Put a heater core in an 04 F150. Guy comes back and says there is a rolling noise in it now that wasn't there before. Turn into a drive and you could hear something rolling from one side to the other, in the rear. Empty beer bottle in the back on a piece of sheet metal...
