S model IHC"S were good as the R model they replaced seeing as how except for the hood, front end and front fenders they were a R model knock off. Cab was same as the earlier L models. I at different times had a L110 a R 120 and a C120. tough old trucks in a no frills era. I always liked the older K series.Dad had a KB6 with an Omaha Standard box for hauling grain,it had a straight pipe on it and us kids really thought it was the cat's meow until he put an tag axle on it to haul more load. That was the end of that old truck. The frame cracked and needed constant welding, the transmission was destroyed several times and in a soft barn yard it would not move with a full load of corn on. He followed a corn sheller circuit so the old truck was subject to a lot of abuse.JH

We had a S160 IHC I liked the hood, you could open either side and prop it up or undo both sides and take the hood off. Had a big 220 engine, and the throttle shaft went through the crankcase, always leaked a little oil. My brother turned it over on the inside of a curve loaded and ruined it. Also had a 110 4X4 it was a 58 model. Had two big cast iron levers in the floor for the 4 wheel drive, that vibrated, It also had a great big 6 hole pattern on the wheels. No body at high school had a cooler truck. Vic
