Aged 50 something

Will be turning 56 in April, TLW.
The cumulative size (time wise) of my projects is still increasing :-(

55 model. Born in 55, turn 56 mid year. Still have a full head of hair, but no longer the original color... :<(

My mind is a little past its prime. Does the wisdom gained over time make up for the loss in ability to quickly recall names and places?
My body is WAY past its prime.
Spring 1955 model.

50s? Left them awhile back. Officially a old crock- got the AARP card to prove it. Clerks asking for ID aren"t concerned about- can you legaly drink booze or buy tobaco?- but do you get the senior discount? Insurance salesmans calls no longer trying to push life insurance- Burial/funeral insurance seems to be the current need according to them. Told a couple I already made my coffin, they seem upset that I"m not going to pay them a commission for fancy casket. RN.

My oldest daughter will be 51 in April; her sister will be 50 in September. Now that makes me feel old. lol

50 something ? Add 23 to 50 to get my age . My biggest medical problem is : Infectious Ironitis, usually called old iron collecting .My doctor says there is no cure. Enjoy life while you can. clint

Not applicable here !!!

But someone will probably think of the next question that I may have to answer.

I was once told - you are only as old as you think you are. In 1970 a friend and I jumped off the Shell Knob bridge into Table Rock Lake. In 2010 we jumped of the Shell Knob bridge to celebrate 40 years of friendship and memories.

I'm 56, but for one week in 2010 I was sixteen. My friend and I can honestly say that we have lived.

Our daughter is 56 and will be 57 later this year. I'm 78 and the better half is 79. Hal
PS: She cost $5.25 when she was born at Ft Bragg NC.

I've enjoyed reading everyone's ages and comments.

51 until July, Chris is 56.

I'm way ahead of most of you. Turned 72 last New Years Eve. Every once in a while I think about how blessed I am to have lived through this time. My father ran a steam threshing outfit when I was about 6. I learned to drive our first gas tractor when I was eleven. I learned to drive my dad's car at 14, and was sent to work in the fields with the tractor about the same time. Theres so many things that have come (and some gone ) during my life. Radio, Calculators,
telegraph, telephone, television, computers and many many more. While working for the Canadian National Railway for a couple of years I got to work with both the coal fired and bunker fuel fired steam locomotives and also the diesel locomotives which were just starting to be used at that time. I couldn't have chosen a better time.

76, be 77 in July. Thanking God for every new day I get to see and that I'm well enough to enjoy life, really appreciate others whether old or young, and look forward to the future.

53 and with a 22 year old daughter and 17 year old daughter dont know if I'll see 54. trick question------ take the last 2 years of year you were born and and to the age you will be on your birthday this year and bet it equals 111 :)

59 and feeling every bump in the road..I turned 50 on 9/11/2001..Puttin' down asphalt on that mornin'...

Oliver 77, 88 are older than me BUT I'm older than the Super 55 and Super 88.

Just wanted to keep this tractor related!

Have three tractors in their 50s. Couple others in their late 40s They're all younger than their operator.

Old enough, that the summer of 1953, I cultivated corn, in the Ill river bottoms, using a Farmall F20, with hand lift cultivators. I really thought I was something, several yr's later when my uncle got a Case SC with cam lift cultivators. Just kick the pedal. graduated HS in the class of 57.

68 this year. I remember when Dad was 85 saying "I work just as hard as I ever did, I just don't get as much done!". Kind of the way I feel most days. Keep on working and don't worry about it.

Happy Birthday!
Wife's is on the 8th, mine on the 10th and daughter on the 17th.
