John Deere 2755 Muffler Question

How the heck do you get the muffler loose from the turbo? It butts right up against the turbo almost. No pipe in between. I unbolt the muffler and tried to beat the muffler off the turbo but it would not budge. I cant really tell how it connects. Looks kinda like a donut connecter but does it all just mash together or does it lock on somehow? Its all rusty and I just cant tell. No diagrams anywhere either!

Have you looked at the diaghrams at john deere parts online?

From viewing the parts schematics it appears that after the bolts that hold muffler mounting bracket to the intake manifold are removed the muffler will come off.

Forgot to put in my reply that the part between muffler and turbo is called R73531 ADAPTER FITTING

yea thats what I thought. I looked on JD Parts and seen that adapter, which I assume is like a donut type gasket. But I unbolted it all and couldnt beat the thing off. Thers alot of rust on the adapter. Probably let it soaked with some WD40 and see if it will break loose.
