- 27 this morning our new home furnace is a pos, so we had 4 small heaters, plus the fireplace helping it thru the night still had the farthest bathrub on the line freeze up, got it working no damage to pipes, have over a foot of snow on the ground too, so i was sweating having to deal with frozen pipes plenty

That doesn't sound like any fun! Make sure to keep an eye on those heaters. We hear of way too many fires caused by people not thinking.

Be careful. During our snow and ice storm a few weeks ago, the neighbor's house burned down, right behind my shop. His wood heater was the culprit while he and his wife went into town to get some eats. Being in a rural area doesn't help the situation either. By the time the trucks come, it's too late.

i think it would be great if you checked his size and what he may be wearing , pick him up a nice snow work suit,(1 SZ LARGER THAN NEEDED, EASY OFF LOL ) and gloves to match.he will have to come back next yr so you can see him in it.

I have a problem about like yours but it is the hot water line going to the kitchen It will have to stay froze up till it thaws on its own or the temps go up to the point it thaws. To cold to get under the house to fix it plus if I open it up the rest will probably freeze up to. They say it will be above freezing tomorrow so I guess we can live with out it a day or so

On the news yesterday. Algore said the snow has nothing to do with Global warming... shesss so global warming means snow????? All the time I had it all wrong!!!!!!! lol

nope, just trusted a so called professional to actualy do his job, my bad, the furnace works, but only cold air comes out of the floor registers, will have to wait untill it warms up, crawl under the house and see what he didnt do,

I think it is termed "extreme weather conditions"
Some places it is snow, other rain, other heat.
