What are some of you guys paying. Got qouted $2.97 for #2 at on local dist for delivery anytime before Dec, and from a larger area distibuter $3.05 #2 must take delivery by August. I was really surprised that the big name dist had a worse deal than the smaller local dealer.

All Distuibtors buy at the same price wholesale is wholesale....some have more sources than others ...don't lets size fool you

Just had my farm tank filled, enough for the whole year, $2.97/gal, 335 gal, $19.75 discount if paid in 10 days. Chris in NW Ill

talked to my neighbor this morning at the coffee shop & he filled his farm HQ tanks for $2.19gal. got 65,000 gal. to get him through planting season

you got to remember that the larger farms down here are 15000 to 20000ac...with 15 400hp tractors running 20hr. days [2 10hr. shifts] plus the smaller tractors & trucks you will use 4500 to 5000gal. per week....this guy had 9000ac of corn & 6000 in rice last year not counting soybeans...I worked as a strawboss for him back in the 60's & he was working 12000 then..have no clue what he's working now...they are in the field as we speak running several Water Buffalo...the muddier it gets the better job they do...take care ...Kent

My supplier quit taking prepays, you've got to take delivery to lock your price :(. Last I got was 2.79 back in December for off road. I'm sitting on about a half tank each at each place right now of both off and on road. I'll probably have to fill sometime in March.
