got a small leak in intake gasget on a 4.3 chevy engine. what is the best sealer that you have luck on stopping the leak. thanks

GM has had trouble with this issue, their fabulous 100,000 mile dexcool antifreeze eats out the intake gaskets. best cure is to put in regular antifreeze after replacing the gaskets

Ground black pepper works about the best.Not a cure but it works darn good and it wont plug everything else.

Better not mess around with that problem too long. You will have antifreeze in the oil pan and will be installing a crank kit.

Replace the intake gasket ASAP. It's only going to get worst.

Don't mess around with sealer on that one.Easy enough to replace intakes on all 4.3's I'd highly recommend "Perma-Dry" gasket set by Felpro depending on the year.
