Why do kids buy pants and clothes with holes just to look like they work? or what?

Ya, but usually new ones with holes in cost more than new ones without holes.

Them jeans with allready made holes cost 3x good jeans. I like rustlers, I get uniforms at work so them are some cheap jeans they rent you but they keepem washed and patched.

I suppose they got to pay someone to wear them to work and wear holes in them first. That would make them more expensive. LOL

Same reason they shave their head on one side and have hair to their collar on the other. Or males wear ear rings. Its called fashion. I still think my Grandpa started one in the 60's. He took a trip to california and when he wore his overalls in the bigcity he was stopped several times and ask where he got the cool cloths. Wasnt long after that they were all over the west coast.

Never mind the holes, it would be nice if they could just pull them up! It looks like they're carrying around a full diaper, their pants are hanging so low. Dave

Fashon in general is real stupid to say the least. Yeas ago ladies had to have high heals, and corsets.
Some ladies wear enough makup to paint a barn, some ladies have to have hair way down their backs.
Some guys got to have a chew under their lip to fit with the croud, some have to drive a 4 x 4 with big wheels.
Some guys and galls have to smoke to fit in with the crowd, and last but not least some of us guys have to have a old tractor to look cool in a parade.
Heck, we is all crazy if you get to thinking about it, and then when we are done being crazy, we will give seven thousand dollars to have a nice looking casket (visable for a couple of days) to plant us in.
I should be shoveling snow, instead of tripping my mind out so much.

id say lack of pride in themselves or anything else for the most part, kids seem to be into trying to look as bizzare and unkept as possible, a trait they carry over to their work, "dont know, dont care" seems to be the rule, instead of i dont know, but i will find out, or im not sure let me ask someone who can help, same in a restarunt, im from the day when your food was brought to your table by a pretty waitress with a smile, or a smartly dressed waiter, now its usualy a kid who looks like a freak circus clown with a hardware store hanging from his face, unfortunatly the real clown can take his makeup off, the kid cant

I was born and raised on the Canadian Border of Northern Maine. Spent most of my time in Canada. The ladies there looked like ladies and for the most part they still do. Thanks Canadians for your high class people. My mother was Canadian. Going back to PEI and Novia Scotia again this summer. Have a goodun.

In my opinion...Fashion trends are for the mindless sheep who have absolutely no sense of self. That alone describes alot (not all) of youth today. I once told a youngster who had his pants riding half way down his underwear " your diapers are showing"...I've never seen him like that again.
