Bring it On!!!!!

Ok, well if this has to be, then lets get ready and make the best of it. Fresh fuel is in the tractor, the fluids are all topped off and checked, the blower is lubricated. Extension cord in place for block heater. Battery removed and charged up in the house. Tires are good. OK, I am ready....Sock it to me!

I hear ya..

both tractors are all set, the skidsteer was running yesterday, got groceries Friday.. Had the snowmobiles out at Christmas time..

All I still need to check is that the generator will start.. Used it in November, so I should be all good, but gonna make sure.

We're kinda due here.. I can't say we've had much snow here in a few years, so we're due.

Calling for 12-18", maybe a trace of ice, 30-40 MPH winds and COLD Thursday/Friday (high of right around 10*, plus the wind..)

Mother nature can be a b!+ch.. and it looks like the b!+ch is bout ta have puppies..

Ya I"m ready too. Gased up the generator, snow blowers and the tractor is ready.Lots of food on hand as always,..looks like 10"-18" depending on the track the storm takes. Ready to hunker down and wait for the fun.

Our freezer and pantry always have enough food to last us a season, let alone a couple of days. We stopped and got milk and fresh vegetables, like usual, after church yesterday. Ran the small generator yesterday afternoon and topped off the fuel. Snow blower has been on the tractor, ready to go all winter.

As long as I can get home from work every night..... I'm ready for it.

Tim

Bout time we get some snow here in west Michigan. Storms seem to either go north or south of us. Right now they are forecasting 10-18 inches for our area. We'll be lucky to get 8!

Slacking off are we?
.
you're supposed to be ready at all times, can't rely on what the weather man says.

sorry,mister foghorn,i tought this was YT,i must've punched in the cartoon channel.LOL

hey, keep an eye on that little chicken hawk,he's got his mind on yer lady

Supplies wise, I "m pretty well prepared all the time. Unfortunately, my plow truck is down right now with transmission problems. 4,800 miles since I had the tranney rebuilt, and it won"tback up... NOT HAPPY! Have a fairly capable tractor with a back blade, so I probably can work down the snow enough to do the chores. 2 generators, and a stock of fresh gasoline. There"s the real rub. Gotta have water, refrigeration and heat. If the power goes down, we could be in real trouble, without our own generators.

We're supposed to get 10-16" by Wednesday morning. Tractor & generator tanks are full. Hauled extra wood to the house today. Trying to decide if I want to cut one more load during the day tomorrow before it gets buried for the rest of the winter. We'll probably end up with 4".
