I"m in NW Ohio. This picture is from 2004, but the guessing guru"s are predicting a significant amount of snow for Tuesday, Wednesday of this week here.
I put the cement drum on the three point today, so I will have some more traction for pushing snow, if necessary.

How close are you to Mytic, or Groton or New London??? I live in New London at a couple of places back in the 70s Loved to go out and eat at a place called the Light House Inn. Very classy place but I did love to impress the ladies back then and the dancing was not for my age group but I liked it any how and so did my dates

I have family that reside in that area both in Joplin and Neosho but they are only in small areas any more since they are all 6 foot under. I do also have relatives in the area but been way to many years for them or me to remember them if that makes since

Lots of family still there (6 ft under). Hi Delta -

Good looking place & tractors!!

I was over to Grand Junction just last week - thought of ya'll as we went through Delta! If I had had more time and/or more heads-up notice beforehand, I'd have sent you an email to see if you had time for a Coke and talk old tractors a little bit!

Maybe next time... I live about an hour or so south of Lamar CO on the other side of the range from you...

The Woodlands, TX, Montgomery County, about 30 miles north of downtown Houston. I don't own any tractors; wish I did, but love reading about them and the people who use them.

Randy,e-mail me if you get a chance. My cousin went to Shepherd high school. I spent many a summer up in Mt.Pleasant when I was a kid. Know the area well. I'm 15 miles south of Grand Rapids. Really like that John Deere of yours. You did a great job on it.

I bought a used '53 ford custom 2 door like yours in 1956. It was blue, flathead V-8 and manual transmission.

There are 5 Fords ( 2- 8N's, Jubilee, 2000, and 3000) a 1 MF-165, and a JD 310B Backhoe here on the farm. Been in the family since 1820's. My children are the fifth generation to be raised in our house.

Did you put two pictures together to make this one? There's no snow on the tires and no tire tracks on the ground. Very nice photo. I rarely see teardrop fenders on a "B".

171 entries (to now) must make this one of the best forum questions yet.

I'm in Waseca County, Minnesota. Posted my JD 50 on here just a few days ago so I'll not repost.

My geography is getting a real workout, not to mention the time it takes to drag out the maps and look at all these places where fellow YT'ers live.

DePere, Wisconsin which is just south of Green Bay. It's been home for 52 years. Roots run deep here!

Is there any way of moving this thread to the top of page 1, giving more people a chance to respond to it?

Hey Leo, I live in Alto and graduated from Caledonia last year. Thats a good looking Jubilee you have there. My Grandpa lives in Cascade and has a nice 8N.

Hi Old

I'm about 25 miles from New London, Mystic is a little closer. So you broke a lot of hearts at the Lighthouse Inn ? I've never been there. It's still open I guess. I have a sailboat on the Pawcatuck River, Stonington, CT that leads to the ocean and gets me out of the woods in the summer.

Man, you lived everywhere ! Too expensive along the Ct shore nowadays for most people. The Groton sub maker Electric Boat can't make subs fast enough; a good thing for all the employees still there.

"Little Sweden" - Lindsborg, KS. Have a tractor, but no land to use it on ...yet. 1963 JD 2010 and a 1954 JD B (not running...yet). They were used on my wife's grandparents farm near Vleats, KS.

Ya I was stationed at the Sub base on and off from 1974 till 1977. I was on the USSBN Pulaski 633. As for all the places I have lived would you believe I left out a few like MN and not sure if I put in VA or not. LOL, Ya between my dad doing what he did and me being in the navy I did get around to a lot of places. I think there is only 10 of so states that I have never been in but most I at least at one time either road or drove through.
As for the Light House Inn it was or is one of the best place a person can go out to to eat. Ya a bit in the pricey side but hey if you want to impress a gal a place like that will do it LOL
