I know this is really really variable, but has anyone built or been quoted a farm building lately that can make me a guess on sqft pricing? Materials and Labor to put up. 14' walls, not extra deep that it needs a double truss-but around 60' on the short side, concrete floor, minimal electric, etc. Just looking for some info to do some "figurin'". Last one our family built was with FBI, 66'x88', 14' walls, etc. Something like this. Thanks for the help.

Go to this website

On this site they quote prices with the material used. Pictures too.

If you have a Carter Lumber nearby, give them a call. They have stock pole barn kits for which they can immediately give you a price. If you want something different they'll plug it into your program and give you a price for a custom materials kit.

I just priced a Morton 40x60 16 foot to the square. It was Thirty-five thousand erected on a level site. Six inch concrete floor was $9800. I decided to wait a year.

I just priced a Midwest building from Menards, 54' x 82' with 16'side walls with, wainscoting, two windows and 1' overhang on 82' sides. Adding my labor and going rate for concrete, I would say about $53,000.

We are planning on building a shed through Cleary. The one we are looking at is 81' by 42' by 13' and it has a 10' by 16' door, two walk out doors and 3 frame-outs for windows that we are providing. The cost of the building is $31,250. For leveling of our site it will be about $700. The electrical will be about $1300. The cement will be $11,750. So the total is about $45,000 for the building and prepwork, electrical and cement.
