google it ... this is serious stuff begiining in 2003 because epa fouled up , ,kills honey bees and bugs ,, birds can be at risk too..epa missed important data and approved this dangerous chemical that threatens the balance of nature ...
 
... and when they wiped out every other viable chemical that would control european wire worm... along came Poncho. Take your pick? Wire worm = No corn crop. At least around here... So no Poncho, no corn.

There are so many chemicals that nature may never recover.but we need to 'help'
(?)/give her a chance to .I know chemicals have improved our yields and our quality of life....but at what cost?Yes,I am also guilty of useing chemicals,but now I think about a little more before I use them.
 
Well else can you expect when the gov gets there hand into something any more. That is why when I was in the navy there was the right way, the wrong way and the Navy way and you see which one is last on the list. LOL.
Yep if bees keep dieing sooner or later we will be right behind them since no bees few plants and few plants mean few animals and few animals mean few people fact of life and nature

For those of us that don't like to read environmentalist BS, please explain how a chemical applied to the seed and stuck in the ground does any damage to a bee? I'd be more worried about the stuff they spray with airplanes in mid July than I would anything directly placed on the seed.

Reality will catch up eventually... Chemicals didn't come along because some big bad boogeyman had something to sell. They came along to solve a problem.
If you don't have to deal with European wire worm, count yourself lucky.
