Ya up here at the lake of the Ozarks on my porch at 9am my thermometer said 8 or so. Had trouble unlocking my door because the lock was frozen

Hi WWS, I'm in Springfield also. My truck said 0 @ 5:45 AM when I headed out to work. I always think about my Pop and all the other guys humped up around Bastogne back in the day and how cold that must have been. And I complain about the walk from the house to the barn.
I live NW of town out near the airport. Not to far from Jimmy King of Ash Grove.

Dire predictions of freezing rain, ice storm, etc. here for last night- but it just snowed 2 inches, then warmed up and started raining. 40 this morning, most snow gone, and they didn't even cancel school.

Mike, when I left home (Buckley) this morning, the temp was 46. As I drove north the slush was heavier and the temps dropped. When I got to work in Kent the temp was 36 and the sidewalks were slippery. Guess this time it paid to live in the foothills.

Well hey Walter, how are you doing. Staying warm I hope. I sure dont enjoy this cold like I used to when I was a kid.
