Morning Guys,

Gots to go fetch a load of horses this morning and the thermometer is stuck down in the "retract" zone.

How in the heck do I always end up gettin' myself into these kinds of messes!

That darned old loader tractor better start 'er it's gonna end up being a long, long day. :>(

Only 13 below here. Supposed to get up to a balmy 16. My job this week is to move all my stuff to a new house. Yea, below zero and me in a walker. Glad I have a good friend with a 4 wheeler. KennyP

Yeah,

Was -15° out here on the hill when I got up.

Think it's tryin' to warm up a little now tho; maybe -7°?

'Course, I'm cold at anything less than 65. :>)

We have been lucky in Maine so far this winter. Rather mild, so much that the ice on the lakes is not safe yet in a lot of places. Could use a good open spring like we had last year. Planted corn May 10th.

Only about 0 here.

My wife once said she didn't mind cold as long as it didn't snow. I told her I didn't mind snow as long as the temp didn't get below 70 degrees.

Have a good one.

We moved to SE Tennessee to get away from snow. We got seven inches Sunday night. Basically the Tennesee River valley was closed on Monday. Ace Hardware was closed but TSC was open - bought one of the four remaining scoop shovels. What's them chains for on that there tractor???:^)

It was -10F here this morning and we"re due to get a rain from Thursday through the weekend. That ought to make feedin" more fun! We"re havin" a real winter here in Western Montana.

BTW I have used the brakes and diff lock on an 886 on ice trying back the darn feed cart into the shed - there was little hump at barn door floor. The mud puddle in the drive was perfectly aligned with back wheels and froze over solid. I got it pull forward and got a little run at it reverse. Cousin said I thought you were gonna back the #$%! thing right through the wall, glad you got it stopped!:^) Chains might have been a little handy that day. BTW I never hung the semi up on ice but cousin did more than once!:^)

Hey! Allen. We have lots of snow again this year, If you want to keep from sweating I could send you some oneway or another. No melting days at all--mostly 5 to 10 below to highs 5 to 15.

Michigan and Indiana have been getting more than their share of lake effect snow - along the edges of Lake Michigan. Here in central Michigan, we've been spared the snow, but cold temperatures have us working hard to keep ahead.

either plug the diesel in/...or start a Good Ol Gasser for feeding ... 15 tonite /and we wil not have temps above freezing til saturday MAYBE.. Although We have gotten down to 5 couple weeks back ,, It has not been reallydamcold here in sourhern ind,,, but we have not been getting 4 days straight of 50 +degree temps either ,, and that is usually nice for us here ..
