John Deere 3 bottom plow for John Deere 60 (Pict's)

Gentleman has this John Deere 3 bottom plow for sale for $200. Right now it is in two pieces as it was shortened down to 2 bottom but the third plow easily bolts back on.

It is set up for an 800 series hitch, but can be made to be able to hook up to other 3 point hitches.
It looks to be in good shape.
What do you all think?
What model number is it?

We had a 3 bottom just like that on a G, was a pretty good plow, the gauge wheel make it a lot better. used it on a IHC 350D utility next had a adapter to a 2 point hitch. Your other question the 60 will pull it fine as a 3 bottom. 200 sounds fine.
 
Appears to be a fair price if it's all there. Certain parts might be hard to come by. Beams and/or standards might be bent. Check with a good square. Can be straightened at a machine/blacksmith shop.

On a JD "60", you WILL want a Gage-Wheel on the plow, to control Depth..

You "60" will "Pull it Fine" IF it is a Gasoline or LPG 60..
If it is an All-Fuel 60. be prepared to be in 2nd gear struggling and Creeper gear a lot..
I know, my 1st 60 was an All-Fuel.more of a 2-14" plow tractor..
Sold that 60 and got a Gas 630 and take a 4-16" F-145 Semi-mount to the plow-days with it...!!

I might be wrong, but it almost looks like a 16" plow. Where you live in Nebraska your 60 might pull 3-16's. Where I live 3-14's is a good match for a 630.

On the other hand, if it's a 14" plow you've got yourself an all around good combination. Jim
