Hey Frank I had a model"A" Worthington back in the 1960's. It was a model A ford engine, frame and 4 speed transmission with single rear wheels. Had a pto on side the transmission to run a hydraulic pump. Had a gear reduction between transmission and rear end, no driveshaft. These were used to pull reel mowers on a golf course. They were build in Penn and a fore runner of Jacobson I think. There is a little information on the internet about them. Had a lot of fun on mine till I broke the gear reduction. When I was 16 I put a 312 Ford engine in it with a automatic transmission. Lasted about two months as my brother hit a tree with it. DH

Frank,

Does your Model B based Worthington have "artillery" style wheels? I'm looking to purchase a set, but don't have any leads.
