I know this is a tractor forum, but I thought I would share this, my wife told me yesterday we are expecting? Any tips for a first time dad and mom? It was planned, but Im a little scared!
 
Oh man congrats. You are going to love being a parent. Yes there are some trying times when raising them but the rewards makes them dim in a hurry. My wife and I raised 2 beautiful daughters who are all grown up with babes of there own and I am so proud of the way everything turned out.
 
Congratulations.Its the hardest job you will ever do....AND the most rewarding THE BEST! Again,congrats!
 
Eat lots of cheese get real constipated, and go to walmart where the "Cripple stools" are where ya can do the power poopin thing cause it has those rails to get hold of like Larry the cable guy says. You will have a real close idea why she will when in labor will call you everything under the sun when her labor pains get close.-- LOL-- just kidding

Really though, Congratulations!! You will make it through it just fine.
 
get both grand mother's to be involved and things willgo better and they will be happy
worked for our first one. may you be blessed with your wishes of happy healthy child.
 
Cngrats. Mine is 28 not living at home now but I am glad to see him every time he walks in the door. He has brought me a lot of pleasure over the years. handy to have around to fix all the stuff I screw up at age 62.
 
Find you an artificial arm and slip it in your shirt sleeve when you hit the delivery room. Let her hold that hand.

Scared is the dark side, joyous is the word.Visit the Baby Health Centre for the correct info, you will learn quickly.

We were married 12 years before we were blessed with a baby. They are the best and bring so much happiness. Congratulations Again!!!
 
Wonderful news.As to being scared that is normal.Your natural instincts will take over all in due time.Believe me I have been blessed with 2 sons.

I see so many parents struggle with children. My wife and I decided early on to do it the "easy way" We raised them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. It worked out very well for us, and I have to admit that I fought the reins some here and there, but it has worked out well for me as well.
 
Just relax and take it like it comes. The fact that you're scared tells me you will be a great Dad. It's the ones that don't care that bring problems into this old world. Make the best decisions you can and don't look back! I have three good sons and three wonderful daughters-in-law, what a lucky guy I am.
 
Well my wife has some heart problems, so the worry is there, doctors okd her for it, but she will be high risk. Thank you all for your support! J

Congratulations. The next few years will be the best ever. Mine are 8 and 9 and will be gone in about the same amount of time. Time flies...
