That Blackbird is about the most awesome airplane ever built.

Didn't that used to be the Redstone Arsenal? I've driven past, but that was before the public was allowed access.

Cool! Several years ago we went to an air show at Carswell. It was amazing to see all the air craft and unbelievable what those fighter planes could do!

A moth Balled SR-71 is for sure slower than the two bikes. I am not sure about that little rocket on the dolly behind your bike, or is that your JATO equipment ready for an install? Jim

I give the pilots who flew those planes a lot of credit; imagine what it was like to look out the window and see the wings glowing red from the air friction at Mach 3, Los Angeles to Washington DC in 64 minutes. But jet jocks are usually nuts anyway.
