Here's My tribute to the new year coming, and one whole lot of wishing the new one brings happiness to all.As you folks can see, I'm not at my best and I do apologize to all. Gotta accept Old age with some humility ,I guess.I do Have a Harmonica her that's been laying around for years. I don't play it,and never could get the hang of it. Breathing was difficult (smoking like a chimney) So Larry at Stines corner. It's my gift to you. You have My E.mail .Need your Address. Roy I hope to get to feeling better soon so I can do the backup for you, if you still wish. And least I forget. My APOLOGY to ALLAN from NEB. I can get to be an overbearing jerk at times. I do want you to know, The med make me a DR Jeckle &Mr Hyde, more so every day!!!. Just Over look Me O K? So here's wishing you all the success and happiness this new year. I can see what you were saying about sometimes being an "overbearing Jerk"
I don't take it as really being you. Inside that big frame I see a big hearted teddy bear that if we had time you could and would show others what it took you life time to do., but since the rope is now too short we will just have to settle for what we got left.
I never have or never will be top shelf musically , but I can tell at one time you were and if kept at it again you could be again.
A vocal voice with feeling is one thing but to give any kind of instrument a voice with feeling is what I call music. I don't like Bach,Beethoven or any classical music , but lets face it it was the root of what we have today.
 
ROY,Thank you for your TRUE RESPONSE. I will tell ya that your 100/oo correct. One could never know the ups and downs a person has with diabetes, unless you got it ,or get it. Over time the medications start playing havoc. Changes the personality drastically some times ever so suttle,but change it does. I've been afflicted since 1985 and now all these years later DR HYDE steps up, FULL BLOWN!! I'm not in the habit of making excuses for my self, just stating the plain true facts.I really really watch myself because I can be an overbearing azz of the first order. I loose direction at times and become severely opinionated really dislike myself when it gets to that point. ALLAN KNOWS. AND SO DOES ROY. That's why the apology,and it is sincere.
Any way,I do ask forgiveness if I've injured any one .Thanks again ROY. Warmest regards LOU.
 
Lou., that was unbelievable! Just played it this morning., Nice way to start out the New Year! You have encouraged me to play over the past couple of weeks ,and gave me the strength to keep trying. As a thanks to you for your kind responses I am practicing the song The Wind Beneath My Wings to play and am going to dedicate it to you . (although my rendition of it may change your mind about encouraging me) Be on the lookout for a video coming soon!
 
Yours was the first song I heard in 2011, and it is one that will be hard to top. Very nice job. I also wish you the best in this new year with your medical conditions. My dad has been an insulin dependent diabetic since 1961, and I know what a battle it is at times for him. Truly good days and bad to deal with.
