I have Ferguson tractor that has TO-3551 cast number on the steering column. The serial number is 78122. It has a Hi-Lo Shifter on the left side of the transmission. I have looked on different sites for this serial number and am not able to find this number anywhere. All of the serial numbers that I"ve seen are 6 digits, not like the 5 digits on my tractor.
Does anyone know what tractor this serial number belongs to? I would appreciate any feed back.
Thank you.

Are you sure that first # is a 7, not a 1? Go to the left of the page, under research, click on Ferguson, click on TO-35, and look at the #'s. If that 7 were a 1, you'd have a 1957 or 58 gasser, if my tired eyes are not deceived...

Looks like a TO 30 or a TO20. It has onle 1 Shift lever, as the 35s had double sticks. Looks like the 1 on the side is a sherman transmission.

That is a TO30. If it was a TO20 the oil pan would be different (internal oil filter vs. the TO30s external oil filter on the right side of the engine.). If the 78122 serial number is the one on the tag attached to the dash, you have a 1952 TO30.
