im changing out the starter drive on my '49 cub, i have the starter tailhousing off, there is a washer behind the drive where it would go into the rear bushing on tailhousing, this shouldcome off right? to remove the drive assembly, it seems to be too small to slide over the shaft, or do i have to remove the armeter and brushes ect and dissassemble the whole starter to change it, thanks, eric
