pull type combine

Adirondack case guy, did you ever find a pull type combine? the one that i had ended up being a f2.it went down twards paduca ky,but i did get allis all crop 40,it is in fair shape considering its age,but now finding time to go over it to make it in good running shape. hope you didnt hammered to hard by the little snow storm this last weekend. dan

Sure hope you can find enough parts to get that old Allis running. The 40 is a pretty rare bird, only made for about three years. The old ads from the late thirties advertised an Allis B tractor and a 40 combine for less than $1000. I have been using an Allis 60 for twenty years on wheat and soybeans.

No I haven't. Haven't looked too hard either. The F2 was the first Case combine I had anything to do with.
I live in Central NY, NOT metropolitan NY. Here a foot of snow is an inconvinence, rather than a state of emergency. We just got a dusting similar to the last 27 days of the same, high in 20sF lows teens no sun, just depressing, no nothing weather. At least we passed the winter Solstice, days are getting longer.
The Acg.
