There was born in the city of David a child who was/is CHRIST the lord he was born of man to save use of our sins. Let us not forget this tonight and as we give gifts to all those we love and care about. Then also remember some 3 months and 33 or so years later this same man was hung on a cross to pay the price for use so we do not have to.
I ask this of this post you do not answer unless it is to say A-Man
Which means ya ya let it be so ot this is so depending on what it is talking about

"He" was born in Sept if I recall correctly so why is Dec his birthday? Why also does the bible not mention him from age 12 until age 30?

For such a important person he kind of fell thru the cracks of the bible for many years.

I'll try not to preach a sermon, but here's my take on it. When I die, if I find out there is no God and all my beliefs in Him and my church activities were of no eternal value, I will not have missed out on much. I lived a good life here on earth and now it's done. End of story
When you die, and you find out there really is a God, and your opportunity to make things right with him while on earth has passed, you then face an eternity away from God in a place of eternal damnation.
Bottom line, I don't stand to lose much by believing, but you stand to lose everything by not.
Take it for what it's worth to you.

Dec 25 is the day we celebrate the birth of our lord and savior. He was indeed born in a summer month, but the celebration was moved to the winter solstice to encourage the pagans to convert to Christianity, and stop practicing such pagan rituals as worshiping spirits of the dark on the longest night of the year.

sorry my friend but the bible makes referance to Jesus from Genesis to revelation...the Bible is with me every day as I am a Chaplin in Parchman Prison located in Parchman ,Miss.....I suggest you read & believe that the WORD is our Lord & savior Jesus Christ....take care

I agree with MNut as well...I know him and his family personally ...well, except for their little Sunshine that was born after our first meeting! (and you guys don"t live very far apart) BTW, as I was taught in the Catholic Church, anyone can baptize, with a bit of water and the right words, to guarantee another soul for the Savior, born this day.....I Baptize thee, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit..., while pouring the water over the forehead. ok...I remember the class wag, who had to ask the question...what if enough water is not available, like you come across an accident scene, can you use SPIT? Personally, I think the intention is most important! We do believe in a forgiving God, and chances are, he has a fantastic sense of humor!
