Model Number

I have an old Ford tractor that has been worked hard and put away wet. It still runs well but needs a regulator and I don't know the model number, which the shop requires. I need to know if their is a model number on the tractor itself and if so where. It is an early to mid 1950s tractor. The guy I bought it from doesn't know a lot about it, or won't disclose anything.

Take the generator to the shop and let them make sure it will charge then they can fit a reg .

If you need a voltage regulator, and a vender
asks for a tractor make and model...they are
incompetant...go someplace else ! BUT you do
need the generator make and model number, from
the generator tag !
