Drive Out Tag

I"m looking at buying a 38ft motorhome in Washington state, (I"m in New York) and I can"t seem to find out if a drive out license tag is available?
Does anyone know? What about requirements?
My other option is I"ll call the DMV out there next week, hoping I can get an answer.

WA State DOL offers a Trip Permit that is good for 3 days and cost $25.00. I know of people that have had them unfilled in and used them for many more than the 3 day maximun.

Bought one in California 3 years ago. Had insurance put on it before I left with it and just drove it home. Registered it later. Had no problems.

In Michigan you can drive a newly purchased vehicle home from point of purchase. Need to have Signed title from previous owner, and bill of sale in your possession. In Michigan the title has a form for transfer of ownership printed right on the form.

Out of state? Haven't got a clue!
