I just had to take this pic at the fair during the tractor pulls this summer, made me think of the 9700 Ford some posted plowing the other day. J

They load me up with that much alcohol or whatever I bet I would smoke, too. LOL Len

Alcohol tractors don't smoke. At large pulls they split diesels and alcohol tractors up because the diesels can't compete competitively against alcohol tractors. Mark

Just a diff angle. I was in the stands. I always enjoy it when they hook the County's old Lynn to the sled. Most people are amazed what this 220 Cummins powered track layer will do. It doesen't get to the 300' line in the 40MPH gear, caus it don't have one, but it put a few of those 425hp semi's to shame. (the historical society owns it now, and they bring it out of storage at the fairgrounds each year to clean the cobwebs out of it. Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, must have had something to do with the smoke or the chrome dome on the sholders of the guy in front of me. LOL

Not true here, they run alcohol against the diesel. I might add the diesel's are water injected too.

ACG, correct me if im wrong but thats fonda,?? and I think the top tractor in the pics is Kim Hayes and the Iron Eagle II?? I may be wrong as its a little blurry.

Ever see a Coleman? We had one hooked to the sled this last Oct. The owner was interested. The organizer and sled owner said OK. So we got him in his weight class and he took the sled 2/3 of the way down the track. The crowd loved it and it filled the gap while one of the competitors got some fuel and bled his pump.

Looks like mount pinnaturbo! (sorry) We had a neighbor with a turbo'd up ford 6000, that used to bring out the fire engines, when he put a chisel plow on!
