This is a picture of my parents farm in 1929. Then our new 1949 H with my older brother and me. Then the B that was traded for the H. The last picture was me on my Uncles A John Deere. I always wondered why I like those old tractors. Ron Mn

The tires on the B look very wide. I have 2 B's and they are greatly underrated. Also have 2 M's and an H. All good tractors except the second B needs a lot of work like tires and radiator,

Kind of a silly question, but how do you get digital versions of old photos to post? If I don't have the negatives. Does scanning them result in a quality picture?

Any half decent scanner will give good results like that. Many will convert 35mm slides into photos and even old black and white negatives.
Then if you wish you can "tweak" them a bit with something like Photoshop or even freebie programs like Google Picasa . Although it is a bit like the debate about an old tractor, do you try and restore it or leave it original?

Hey...you"re back? How was that harvest run? Were you able to follow, or catch up on, your favorite car dealer mogul?

I got back three weeks ago. It was absolutely awesome probably the funnest 5 1/2 months i've ever had.

I had a laptop so I was able to keep up on my former boss. Getting what he deserves.

My new job will be getting me over your directon some. Maybe some day I could buy you lunch and tell you about the harvest.
