Darnit! Ain't it always the way........

Mornin' Guys,

I've been fightin' this "glitch" for a solid week now.

Remember my little problem with my guitar synth? After I mounted the goofy thing in my rack, it worked but would not "talk" to my other synth.

I use the rackmount GR-50 with my guitar because it tracks so darned good and besides, it has that guitar tuner right there at eye level. I then have it send the "sound" duties down to my floor-synth 'because that guy just flat has better sounds.

Those two yeahoos wouldn't talk back and forth; just wouldn't do it.

So, I threw my hands in the air, gave up this morning, found another for sale in Chicago at a decent price and bought the silly thing.

No more than hit the "pay" button and it hits me what the devil is wrong. Figured it out within 2 minutes.

Darnit! Guess I needed a spare anyhoo...... :>(

Maybe Cowman is right. Probably ought to just stick with the cows. :>)

Allan, While I"m not glad to hear of your misfortune, I do find it somewhat comforting to know I"m not alone having these type of experiences. While I"m at it....been meaning to ask you or anyone else if you have any knowledge of Budda amps. Took one in on a partial trade on a bike awhile back.

No Sir,

Sure don't.

I'm not a real big fan of amps anyway; quit using them way back in the eighties.

Everyone is different with different tastes and different flesh tone to their fingers.

It took me half a lifetime to get the "sound" that I was looking for inside my head.

Finally found it by "hot wiring" the guts of my guitars along with the use of a studio processor.

I then just send that "modeled" tone out to my two PA systems, which are rigged in stereo.

Now that's lookin better than the pic of it scattered on the table .8>) now lets hear some sounds !

Interesting. Leslie West accidently stumbled upon the tone for which he is famous when his guitar was mistakenly plugged into a PA head. Whatever that is.
