Is Farm equpment a liquidible asset. on my loan aplication from Farm Credit they ask amount of liquidbile assets $

Liquid asset means an asset that is easily turned to cash with little or no loss in value. Such as accounts receivable, stocks, bonds, cds, bank accounts, and precious metals.

In order to quickly sell your farm equipment you may be forced to sell way at a discount. It is definitely an asset but one that I wouldn't consider liquid since it may take a fair amount of time to get a fair price for it.

I think they want assets that can be immediately turn into cash should things go belly up.And which holds or increases in value. If it decreases they may call for additional collateral. The loan is not covered.
