I had to chuckle..

I was reminiscing with a buddy over a cold beer, my old sales days at the Ford New Holland dealer..I just had to chuckle over this one.. I had taken 2 Ford 2000 tractor trade-ins from a school board near us..A customer was interested in one of them..I told him I'd check them out and sell him the healthiest one.. "I goes out and hooks up a 6' disc and runs'em good"..After a couple of days , one of the shop mechanics came into the sales office and asked me if I was the one that was discing the field behind the dealership.. Well , yes I did...He informed me that I had totally disced up their entire garden of marijuana plants..Hey, looked like weeds to me...... OOPSIE

I cleared a patch with a stihl weedeater. I was clearing an empty lot and could not figure out why the neighbors were getting excited. I also was working for a Grease Monkey in Alexandria VA and had a customer go clear off. It turns out that he kept his drugs in the recently vacuumed ashtray. He really couldn't say "Why" he was mad, but he really wanted me to know he was disappointed. No use for it myself...

Used to find them all of the time in my corn fields before they started flying planes to look for it. I have ran many a plant through the corn head. We put up a lot of Hi moisture so we are combining several weeks before everyone else. Must have caught the growers by surprise. I opened up one field one night late and then found several big spots that had been just cut down.

The harvest was underway very early this year in Wisconsin, and it caught many pot growers of guard. Apparantly there was a lot of equipment that was vandalized because of upset pot heads.....

Happened quite a bit here back in the 1970's but they have found more remote areas to grow it without being bothered. They say Wayne County and the Southern Tier are the big growing areas now.

Yup , I have worked on cars for many years and when we do an oil change we vacuum the front and the ashtrays, one car had a big pile of what looked like pot in it , but since it was in the ashtray I thought it was just debris, the owner was a bit miffed at me for vacuuming his ashtray, couldn't say much about it though!! LOL

I have seen some pretty strange stuff in customers cars . Lots of weed . hand guns , adult toys, large amounts of cash . I was phesant hunting and found a big cooler packed full of weed , nother time found two garbage bags full. Also stumbled across a new shotgun leaned up against a fence , how could you go hunting and forget your gun ?

A friend called me back in the '70's and asked if I wanted to take over a field he was haying- he made two rounds mowing, and quit because there were a bunch of 5 gallon buckets dispersed throughout the field, each with 2 or 3 plants. He didn't approve of the stuff. I didn't much care one way or the other, and was a little short of hay, so I took it.

I mowed with an Oliver 1550 with a big loader, so would just put the buckets in the loader as I came to them, and offload along the back fence when the loader was full.

I was just finishing up when the owner came home- he was pretty upset til I showed him what I'd done- he decided maybe they'd be easier to water, all lined up like that, so they stayed there the rest of the summer.
