Antique articulated tractor

We had an articulated tractor, that was burned in a fire so there were no labels, etc. I would like to know who made it and what it was called. I started driving this tractor in 1948, at age 10, pulling rocks out of a field on the farm in western Massachusetts. This tractor was front wheel drive and the front wheels were metal with maybe 6" triangular spikes all around. The overall dia of the wheels was maybe 42". The rear wheels were metal rims where something was mounted like a tire? Any idea what this might have been? Stan

Perhaps a Massey GP?

Moline Universal?? Front drive rig, offset versions also exist. Basis of Uni-System pickers, harvestors, sprayer rigs. Units I worked next to during seed corn picking in 1970s had Ford and Perkins diesels and were 2 wheel front drives but back wheel assist was shown in manuals. RN

RN - There are almost no Minnie Mo's in Mass. I don't believe there was a single MM dealer in Mass, and possibly New England so you see very few of them. Most have been brought here from the midwest.

Early Tree Farmer brand log skidders were four wheel drive articulated, and were obviously a farm tractor conversion.
Maybe someone has a picture or a reference to them.

The Moline Universal was built by the Moline Plow Company not Minneapolis-Moline, however Moline Plow company was part of the merger that created MM.

An Indiana and an Allis Chalmers 6-12 are similar to a Universal.
