Rubbish weekend again

Decided to do the timing and balancer belt on my Mitsubish Showgun last weekend, local mechanics said it was simple task compared to the Fiat 20 v I did last summer. To cut a long story short it was a real pain but eventually got it done. While I was under checking front axle etc for winter I spotted a slight oil, dried it off and drove the car for a week.
Checked it today to find it was still leaking, eventually found corrosion on the oil pan. The oil pan screwws were very difficult to get at but eventually I got them all out. Oil pan stuck solid with sealent, damaged the corner leavering it off. Tried to get it out of its space to find tie rod, anti roll bar and steering rod needed to come off. After much cursing and frustration I eventually got it out but its now dark and the rains on. Managed to weld the hole and testing it on the bench, have filled it up with diesel to check for leaks before re-fitting. I think I will check price and availablity of a new one tommorow just in case.
Anyway hope you guys had a better time.
Just thought I would post a few nice pictures of local Scottish landscape anyway.

Say, It looks like that Dirty MURPHY is on your case. what a bummer. Hope you get the Vehicle fixed without any more problems. Keep us posted. Swell pictures you took. Love to have some of them beautifull landscaping boulders up here. All WE have is Sand. The road in the picture is quite a thing of beauty from your vantage point. Would like to travel it for a while just to meet folks and visit. Thanks a lot, Pictures are always welcome for my old eyed to focus on . Reguards LOU.

Very nice photos. I spent 2 1/2 years in Germany ('64 - '66) but never made it to the British Isles. Kind of reminds me of NorthEastern Wyoming where I used to go Antelope hunting.

Hi Bill. Were located in the NW upper portion of Wis. Got our first shot of SNOW 8" of wet wet wet. Son pushed it around . If you have a map of Wis look for Stone Lake. Were 9 miles west of there, off Hwy 70.My som wanted to know what was grown on the golden patches shown. My best guess was wheat, oats . REguards LOU.

BILL from SCOTLAND: Thanks for the photos...PLEASE tell the area these were made. Wife & I spent two weeks in June "doing" northern Scotland...Orkney...Lewis/Harris...etc. Did NOT wanna come home!!

Rick....near Winston-Salem, NC...kinda/sorta central part of the state!!

Hi Lm
My wife and I passed nearby your area a couple of years ago, nearest we got was to Duluth. We have been to Canada and the US several times over the last few years, great countries and fantastic people. I think we may get to Winnepeg then down the Dakota's then east next year if things work out.
Pictures were mostly of Bennachie one of our local hills. When our boys were small I often had to carry one or both of them to the top usually on January the 2nd, it was a family tradition for several years. Nowadays they could probably carry me if they had to.
