kinda have some drizzle snow mix coming down. Radar looks like the heavier moisture is south. Trying to make up my mind if I want to go sit in the stand today, cant see the deer being active in this stuff. Where are you at in MN plowhand?

nothin up here yet, not even predicting rain or snow for today, i the high for today is 43 with light winds and a cloudy sky....looked like the brunt of that storm was going way south.....im kinda looking forward to some snow, i live up in the roseau/warroad area... Bob

LOL!!!!!!
Yes that is Louisiana.
Southern Louisiana at that with the smell of salt in the air.
We have been pretty lucky this year because we had no storms.
I guess it is all in what you get use to. I would much rather have the chance of a major hurricane every 5 or 10 years than 6 months of snow each year.
I would no mind experiencing just one of your summers though.

Looks like a couple inches of wet pasty stuff out there in the dark here in the New Ulm area. We are in the 2-10 inch forcast area - they really haven't been able to predict this one very close!

Minneapolis (Columbia Heights) here.
And if I didn't know better I'd say it was pretty.
Snapped this about 8:15 this AM

No precip in Ulen, MN. "Bout 45 minutes NE of Fargo. Hopefully gonna put the gas tank back on my 666 today. Cleaned it, sealed it, and painted it while it was out.

Heading to Marshall this morning from Sioux Falls for a birthday part. What's it doing in the Marshall area?

Y'all can keep that stuff back east for a while longer. I have a trip over the mountains next week and don't need any snow to drive on.

Leonard

38 degrees here at 8 AM, may creep up to 43 or so, with a light drizzle. We don't get much snow, but the cold and wet does get a little tedious sometimes.

I'm 70 miles west of you, and all we had was light rain. Sunny with light frost this morning.

Hey Plow hand. I'm in Hudson, WI, just east of you, and its comming down heavy and wet.
Drove to the gas station this morining and it was tough going. Snow wasn't melting like they said it was going to.
Saw one guy in the ditch, and others driving like fools. Decided to go back home and wait until they get out and plow the roads.

yeah , was wondoring about marshell and russell Mn. how much snow did they get. if anyone can post that we would like to know. we were up there the last week of august. really like that area.

Kim should reset the potty filter to include another four letter word. Starts with S and ends with W! We had around 8" here in my neck of the woods. Didn't have internet until noon and the TV dish was off-and-on. Sooo, I was forced to catch up with the bookwork on the computer due to lack of other entertainment. Sigh! Well, there was a little entertainment now that I think of it. The ice made a couple of bare overhead wires touch so I had to replace a fuse on the main pole. They will be replaced with UF as soon as this stuff melts.Jim

Hey Mike in Wa! You must be on the west side of the hill also, It sounds like we have the same weather. It is very hard on the hands, with cold wrenches this morning. I have been putting the heads, back on my 335 today, in an open unheated shed, but thankfuly their is minimum wind. I am in the Roy- Yelm area.

Got a few inches of wet heavy white stuff so far and supposed to continue through the night and into tomorrow. Must be the start of winter again... haha

Hi Prairie Dog: about 25 miles South of Russel we got about 2 inches. There is a cut-off of sorts along the SD and MN line with nothing much in Eastern SD. ( Nothing that won't melt quickly)
Aprox same for Marshall. ag.

Paul, are you in Nicollet co. or Brown? I'm in east side between Nicollet and No. Kato on a County rd and it just p--ses me off everytime it snows as the county plows go past a minimum of 15 times every time we get an inch of snow. Ever since they built golf course and the doctors and lawyers built mansions around that. They must pay the co. under the table to keep every flake of snow off the rd instantly. It costs us tax payers a lot of money to run them trucks needlessly.

At least 4 maybe 5 inches already on the west side of Duluth, MN... wet and heavy. The kind the snow blower hates...

Richard how far are you from Payson. Came off the rim there about three weeks ago. Beautiful drive from there on in to Phonix. Spend a day down in Busby and Toomstome. Arizona has a lot to offer.

we got a little snow that melted right away along the SD border,we were hunting in the Pipestone and Hatfield area-same thing. Where are you located Agpilot? must not be too far from here, I am 1 S of Ward, SD

I'm in NE Minnesota (Ely). We have got a couple of inches, forecast for a few inches more. Looking at the radar, we are on the west edge of the heavy stuff.
DWF

25 miles west of Mpls. Minn. Over 10 inches on the ground and still coming down, wet and heavy, breaking branches down and electric out here and there, son in law milking with the generator tonight.
