302 gas- switching to alternator

GUys,
I have a 3020 gsa with the old generator- I want to switch this over to an alternator and still keep it positive ground since i spent 200 buckson the electronic ignition- what option doi have- can i use one of those kits from stiener.

Not a lot of them out there that are + ground but if you find say a Lucas alternator it could well be + ground. I know most of the older Brit cars used + ground

Alternatorparts.com catalogs several different 12 volt, positive ground Delco 10SI alternators. None are cheap however(!)

It may cost less to replace your ignition box with the negative ground model then use a standard (neg ground) 10SI alternator from NAPA, etc.

If you already have the 10SI or 12SI Delco alternator, you can buy the parts to switch it from neg. to pos. ground for $30. Maybe even cheaper if you search around.
