Plowday questions

I live in an area where there aren't any plowdays near by (due to a lack of farms - outside of San Francisco). What all does it take to put one on? What is done at a plow day? Any suggestions if I was to try and start one?

Thanks.

I live outside of SF now also, wife claimed we need to move for the schools. I can't answer your questions about plow days but there is plenty of old tractor stuff going on in the east bay. Vacaville has a annual event with old tractors, trip plows, steam threashers, horse teams, dump rakes ect. San Ramon Historic Foundation has a old farm and a bunch of great volunteer guys that fund raise $, buy and fix old tractors of all colors, and argue forever about what is best. I am sure the north and south bay have something goin on also. There is no west bay.

Small world. I am part of that one in San Ramon. Boy do we have fights over which is best. Unfortunetly, I am basically the only green guy left. At least we don't have the die hard red ones that caused us problems anymore.

I haven't heard about the one in Vacaville, any more info on it? Email is open.
