My wife and I, my brother and his wife are heading for Georgia, because we have never been there. We plan on ten days round trip. We're traveling from Canada, crossing at Ivy Lea.We look forward to our trips to USA. It's always nice to get some advice on what to see during trip from people who know best. Our route has not been decided yet.
Any suggestions?

If you make it to the coast, Savannah is a beautiful city with tons of history, a nice riverfront. And this is the time of the year to be here, nights in the low 50"s and daytime temps in the 60"s and 70"s. Low humidity, which is very rare.
 
Come down I-75 to Chattanooga. That is in Tennessee but it is a beautiful town with a lot to do and see. Be sure to go to; Rock City and Ruby Falls on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee/Georgia, and the Aquarium, and the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga. Continue down US-27 from there rather than I-75. US-27 is much more senic. Visit the Chickamauga National Battlefield on US-27 about ten miles south of Chattanooga at Chickamauga, Georgia. US-27 goes thru Rome, Georgia and on toward the farming heart in southern Georgia. Work your way across there and come back up along the east coast. Be sure and don't miss Savanah, Georgia. Much too much to see and do to cover all in one trip.

Have y'all worked out your trip yet? You can't go wrong with: US-27 from Chattanooga down to south Georgia, then across the bottom of the state, then back up the east coast. Should fit a ten day round trip perfectly.
