OT A Picture of the USA,

So this Grand Canyon topic got me thinking about some of my travels, and just how pretty this country is.

Then how much I've enjoyed some of the great pictures I've seen daily on this site............ gonna try and add one of my favorite pics for all to enjoy each day.... its off topic of course. Might miss a day or 2. Hope everyone enjoys.

Now that is a georgous site to behold , especially with that God given mirror effect . I'll bet it gets cold there in winter , but very relaxing in the summer . You could say that's retirement paradise .Njoy & God bless

I saw this scene one December a couple of years ago near Central City, Nebraska. I was looking for a house I needed to inspect and had my digital camera on the seat of the car. I just had to take a picture.

Actually, the church is minature. The eaves are about as high as a man's head.

I saw a similar scene one morning a number of years ago while crossing a bridge over a lake just south of Albert Lea, Minnesota, only minus the mountains in the background.

I didn't have a camera with me, and I was driving a crew cab dually hauling a '67 GTO on a trailer, so I couldn't have just whipped over anywhere, but the scene has always stuck in my mind.
