Windy and rain in Terre Haute

I hope that moves east towards us. We don't need the wind, but we sure need the rain! We are in Aurora Indiana, just west of Cincinnati.

I've never seen it this dry at this time of year.

Y'all are getting the storms that we here in the Pacific Northwest have been having for the last few days. Be prepared there is more where that is coming. Generally get an inch or more a per day of rain.

Yep,we sure could have used this in August here in Mid Michigan. Haven't checked the guage from todays storm,but there was a WHOLE bunch of water standing in the fields when it was over. Had .9 a couple of days ago.
 
Chuck, samll place we live in Im just down the road at Manchester. I was gone all day and when I looked for the rain gage it had blown off the post, how much did we get?
 
well we survived that ,, Almost a cakewalk ,, and got a half inch OF BADLY NEEDED RAIN here in Harrison Co , IND...
 
I'm between Wilmington and Aurora on Wilmington Pike.

I have just over 1/2" in my gage but my gage is too close to the house and sometimes reads light depending upon the wind.
