Hoping someone can help me figure this out. I just bought an International 2500 Series A (Diesel). I believe it to be around the early 70's. I'm having trouble figuring out the gears as the plate is missing. I can't seem to get it into low range...any info would be appreciated.

If this is based on a 54/74 series tractor then Low and reverse should be inline on the same stick closest to the fender, L forward, R back, High is forward after you pull the stick closer to the seat when in neutral.

The second stick closest to the seat is 1st all the way back and 4th all the way ahead with 2 and 3 part way in between.
