hows that Cheyenne Bermuda holdin up for you during droughts, hot weather, etc?
oil co plugged that well in my back pasture and it looks like theyre gonna take their own sweet time cleanin up...i wanted to sprig it and let roots grow all winter but looks like i may have to seed it in spring...lookin at all my options...weather been so weird i dont wanna chance spriggin in spring.

Planting anything has been a crapshoot lately... Haven't had a dependable rain pattern in 6 or more years.

Sprigging in the spring? I might be misinterpreting what this means but do you mean sprigging Cheyenne? I guess it could be done but mostly Cheyenne is planted from seed (if you can find it). I think this late in the year it would be best to prepare the land and seed/sprig in the spring (hopefully it will rain at some point...... more than once).

I planted a couple acres of Tifton tops 5 weeks ago "Just before and 60-80% chance of rain all week". Still waiting. :x or  , don't know which says it best.

i heard all that!
actually i meant Tifton,Jiggs,or World Feeder for spriggin...just tryin to get info on seed type hybrid Bermuda as an option...i'm in south central Texas and just seem to have better luck keeping things wet during winter to get established.
