Well the local Vo tec had a car truck motorcycle tractor show this past week end. I took a motorcycle and a tractor to it. Won first place in the oldest tractor. Now the funny thing is in the paper they had an article about it. Had 2 pictures one of the students doing the cooking and the other picture was on my motorcycle. No pictures of all the cars or other stuff just those 2. No first place pictures etc. So what are the odds of having the only picture in the paper of something in the show and it did not even win a thing. Oh well this was the 2nd year they did it and will maybe improve over the years. I had tried to get FFA in the school to start doing tractor and one of them at the show was one they did only took them 4 or so years after I tried to get one done
 
I discovered it is impossible to contemplate the logic of news photographers. I would bask in the glory of the publicity. Jim
 
They like shots of people rather than things. A few years ago the monster trucks were in town and they showed some young kids in the grandstands and never even had a good shot of the trucks! Arg.....on TV nontheless.....
 
Ah but the old tractor I won with is a good bit older then I am at 75 years old this year. I took my 1935 JD-B and the funny thing was is that I was told to unload it in such and such an area but they did not look at it close it still has the steel wheels so I left it on my trailer figuring they would not like me driving it around on the parking lot
